Vehicle Description
This 1999 BMW M Coupe is mechanically stock and one of only 52 M Coupes produced in Dakar Yellow. This car is distinguished by an AC Schnitzer front air dam and rear spoiler. It was sold new in New York where it was garage-kept and stored during the winter.
The Dakar yellow paintwork shows well, and this is one of 7 cars produced in this specification with a sunroof and black leather upholstery. The bodywork has been modified with a high mounted AC Schnitzer spoiler on the rear hatch, and an AC Schnitzer air dam is fitted to the stock front bumper cover. Some scratches are noted on the air dam.
Early M Coupes are fitted with a brighter silver finish on their M Roadster wheels than the later S54 powered cars. The wheels fitted here are in good condition with new Khumo Ecsta tires.
AC Schnitzer pedal pads and emergency brake handle are the only interior modifications, and this car even retains its stock stereo headunit. Power features work as they should and the A/C blows cold.
Carpets and seating surfaces show light wear with good outer bolsters. The rear cargo area likewise appears tidy, with the original toolkit appearing unused in the factory holder.
