Vehicle Description
The special-edition extra-performance Firehawk (available in Formula trim for 1993–1997, and again in both Formula and Trans Am trims for 1999-2002) was produced by SLP Engineering, Inc., and sold through Pontiac dealerships. Featuring 17-inch wheels with namesake Firestone Firehawk 275/40ZR17 tires along with a functional twin-inlet hood above a specific air cleaner box, its rated power increased to 300 hp (220 kW) and 330 lb·ft (445 Nm) of torque. Pontiac expected to make 250 but due to scheduling problems at the "new" Firebird assembly plant in Quebec, they were only able to build 201. This one-owner example was always kept in a climate controlled environment and the paint, trim, lamps and glass all are in excellent condition. There are no modifications to this vehicle and it remains stock just as it left the factory. Included are both sets of keys (red and black), owners manual, SLP birth certificate and invoice, wheel tool, extra decals and very rare build sheet.
